Workshop and Senate Meeting

On Saturday, April 21, 2012, Upward Bound students attended a workshop and senate meeting. Mandie Valenzuela spoke to the students about what it is like to be a roommate, and how to be a good roommate. The students enjoyed learning about this topic very much. They got to participate in role playing, experiences, and learned many new things. The Senate meeting proceeded after this where Senators from each high school met and went over rules for summer component and site issues. What a great Saturday!!!
